3i HoME's Caring Communities is our mixed-income neighborhood model. We understand the need for accessible housing solutions for people with disabilities and mobility impairments at all income levels. These will be neighborhoods for individuals, families and caregivers, with green-engineered single family or duplex style homes featuring smart home technologies and constructed using principles of universal design. Another unique feature being considered is a set aside and/or subsidy for essential workers -- particularly those employed as CNA's, direct care workers and others essential to the healthcare sector in our host community. We are currently in the pre-development stage of our first 3i HoME mixed income neighborhood of approximately 30 homes to be located in western Maine. Additional updates will be provided in the coming months -- with a construction target date later in 2025.
